How it works
Each business pays once a day. On a normal day it earns a random amount inside its income range minus running costs; on a bad day (8β10% of days) it loses a fixed amount instead. The calculator uses the expected value:
expected profit = (1 β bad-day chance) Γ (average income Γ event multiplier β running cost) β bad-day chance Γ bad-day loss
The trailer works the same way with the driver's wage as the running cost and a breakdown repair as the bad day. Real days will swing above and below the average; over a month it evens out. Economy events only last a week, so applying one to a 90-day projection is a "what if every week were like this" scenario.
